24th July 2008
Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: E
Wind Stength: 13
Surf / Sea State: flat to rolling surf
Air Temperature: 19
Sea Temperature: 16
Weather: sunny
Max Speed: 22.7 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 24.8 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Down at the dip at 4 and Rob is out with his 13m kite and David Coles on his new formula with a huge sail.I rig the 8.5 and go out on the carve which is okay.I have a few runs with David as he is keen to show me how much faster he is than me!!!! I then have a few runs with Rob and his jumping is coming along great !!!! and with the tide high I could sail nearly anywhere in the river mouth without losing my fin on the shallow shingle banks !!! I had some mega runs in along several 100m of rolling surf and then a blast up the river in really flat water, this is about as good as Felixstowe gets. It's great to see 6/8 kiters out + afew windsurfers and I had 2 hrs out just getting home in time for Mag to take the van to Ipswich.
